Still run as a family business – now in its fourth generation – Iwis today employs about 1,100 people at its three production sites in Munich and Landsberg, both in Germany, and Strakonice in the Czech Republic. Flexon – acquired by the Iwis group in 2006 – specialises in roller, flyer and special-purpose chains as well as chains for agricultural machinery and accessories. With subsidiaries in the USA, United Kingdom and Switzerland and further sites in France, Brazil and China, the Iwis group has a global presence, supplying customers and partners in more than 45 countries.
